An exciting job opportunity has arisen.
We are looking for a part time Prom Dress Sales Consultant to join our team at Ivy Blu for our up and coming prom season.
You will need to be enthusiastic and motivated, this is a very fast pace environment so time keeping is also essential.
Confidence is key as you will need to be able to easily communicate with both the prom girl and her guests.
The role will include:
- Greeting customers at the door and explaining how the store is laid out
- Checking our school list to make sure dresses are not duplicated
- Helping the prom girls into dresses and doing them up correctly
- Advising on styles and colours during your 1-1 appointment
The Hours
This role will include working a mixture of Saturday's and/or Sunday's (subject to appointments booked) from September/October until the end of April/May.
As appointments are customer lead then flexibility is important as shifts could change depending on demand.
We are looking to hire on a temporary basis however for the right candidate the job could become more permanent.
Experience
- Our ideal candidate should have some experience in fast pace working environments such as: retail or hospitality etc...
- Should be able to make her own decisions independently
- Be confident in starting conversations
- Be a fast learner as we have over 400 dresses in store to remember.
Uniform
We do not have a set or given uniform at Ivy Blu however we do expect staff to be dressed Smart-Casual, clothing must be be appropriate and in the colours Pink or Black to match the full time, permanent staff.
We have ample free parking on site, if you are not able to drive yourself it is important you have reliable transportation as we work in a tight schedule.
