Excel Supply are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Telford .
This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and develop their digital skills, preparing them for further education and the modern workplace. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and innovative ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering confidence, creativity, and problem-solving skills in the classroom.
The role will involve:
- Planning and delivering engaging ICT lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teaching a range of topics including digital literacy, computer systems, cybersecurity, programming, and data handling
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to support achievement
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation
- Monitoring and supporting student progress to help them reach their full potential
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching ICT within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for technology and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- The ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
