Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing stock, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Duties
- Handling materials, including loading and unloading goods from lorries and storage areas
- Operating warehouse machinery safely and effectively
- Managing stock levels using the warehouse management system (SAP) to ensure accurate inventory records
- Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch
- Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Assisting with shipping and receiving procedures, including documentation and labelling
- Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times during daily operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment or similar role
- Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures
- Basic IT skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and stock management
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
