Responsibilities
- Manage transportation planning and execution using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective routing.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline freight movement, negotiate service agreements, and monitor performance metrics.
- Implement process improvements across supply chain activities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, forecast needs, and support strategic decision-making related to category management and supply chain optimization.
- Managing drivers to make sure everything is on time
Skills
- Strong knowledge of category management principles within logistics operations.
- Proven experience with transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with third-party logistics (3PL) coordination, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques.
- Ability to analyze data effectively for process improvement initiatives and operational insights.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating across teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
