Job Summary
M&M Seafood Ltd is a well-established seafood importer, processor and wholesaler supplying customers throughout the UK. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day production operations, ensuring products are packed, handled and prepared to the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing and processing seafood products
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Labelling and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting with stock handling and warehouse duties
- Supporting general production and operational activities as required
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a food production, warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties
- Good spoken and written English
- Right to work in the UK
Preferred Skills
- Multilingual abilities, particularly Gujarati, to support effective communication with a diverse production team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
