Housing Support Worker – Community Based
37 hours per week | Monday–Friday (Flexible between 8am–6pm)
Are you looking for a housing-related support role where you can work in the community and make a real difference to people’s lives — without providing personal or regulated care?
Framework has an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Worker – Community Based. This role focuses on providing housing-related support to people in Framework accommodation, helping them work towards independence, tenancy sustainment, and successful move-on.
Must have experience of working with homelessness and vulnerable adults.
The Role
You will work with people living in Framework accommodation across the community, providing housing-related support. The role involves completing actions on support plans, completing assessments, and helping service users work towards independence and resettlement.
This is not a personal care role.
Support is focused on housing, tenancy skills, and independence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide housing-related support to service users in the community
- Complete assessments, complete actions from support plans with service users
- Support individuals to maintain their accommodation and develop independent living skills
- Support service users with housing applications, appointments, move-on options, and resettlement
- Support service users with budgeting, life skills, and practical tasks related to independent living
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals as required
- Work closely with the Support Planners and internal teams to ensure service users receive coordinated support
- Travel across the local area to deliver support, with mileage paid for travel
What We’re Looking For

Experience in housing support, homelessness services, supported accommodation, or a similar role
- Understanding of housing-related support and the needs of vulnerable adults
- Ability to build professional, supportive relationships
- Good communication, organisation, and record keeping skills
- Willingness to travel across Mansfield and Ashfield
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
What This Role Does NOT Involve

- No regulated or clinical care tasks
- No overnight or on-call duties
