Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Barista to join our team as. This role requires a strong background in coffee and ice cream preparation, along with exceptional customer service skills. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and delivering a top-quality beverage and ice cream experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage and Ice Cream Preparation: Expertly prepare all hot and cold drinks, including specialty items like matcha and long blacks, as well as a variety of ice cream flavors and sundaes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to customers, taking orders and addressing inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Cash Handling: Operate the phone till accurately, manage transactions, and keep cash registers balanced.
- Team Leadership: Lead and train any junior baristas, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Operational Management: Open and close the store as a Key Holder, ensuring all procedures are followed.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Assist with ordering and managing stock levels for both coffee and ice cream ingredients, ensuring all items are fresh and available.
Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
