The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you will support clients in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity and choice while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting.
- Assisting with medication in line with care plans and company policies.
- Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Supporting clients with mobility and safe moving and handling.
- Assisting with shopping, light housekeeping and domestic tasks.
- Recording care accurately using company documentation.
- Reporting any changes in a client's health or wellbeing promptly.
- Working in accordance with CQC standards, safeguarding procedures and company policies.
Requirements
Essential
- A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work alternate weekends.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
Desirable
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, care homes or healthcare.
- Care Certificate or NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
- Medication administration experience.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not essential).

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
