Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to deliver consistent results on time
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress or any issues encountered
- Maintain a clean work area by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and touch up as needed to meet high standards
- Assist with site setup and breakdown, including moving materials and equipment as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting or related fields preferred; training opportunities available for motivated newcomers
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation to various job sites
- Strong communication skills in English for clear instructions and teamwork
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and painting activities
- Basic understanding of tools and equipment used in painting tasks
