Woolston Brook is a small, specialist school for children and young people aged 7-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school provides an inclusive environment where all learners are cared for, valued and respected.
Woolston Brook School is seeking to appoint an Inclusion Support Worker on a 1 year fixed term basis to join our wonderful team.
The Inclusion Support Worker will provide targeted inclusion, pastoral, outreach and academic support to pupils and families to ensure:

Improved attendance, engagement and participation in education.

Effective support for pupils with SEMH, Autism and additional SEND needs.

Positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and attitudes to learning.

Improved academic engagement and progress through personalised tuition delivered in school, within the community and, where appropriate, in pupils' homes.

Successful reintegration into school following periods of absence, exclusion, emotionally based school avoidance or placement instability.

Strong partnerships between school, families, external agencies and the wider community.

A safe, inclusive and supportive environment where all pupils can thrive.
