Job Summary
Part-time – 3 days per week (weekdays and weekends)
Days are not fixed and will vary according to the needs of the business. Flexibility is a requirement of this role.
Working hours may also vary and can include morning shifts (e.g. 6:00am–2:00pm) or evening shifts, depending on production requirement.
We're looking for a reliable, hard-working person to join our Totopos (Tortilla Chips) Production Team. You will work in the tortilla room and frying room.
Our factory is a fast-paced role involving frying, seasoning, packing and boxing tortilla chips to a high standard. You'll need to be self-motivated, able to work independently once trained, and happy to move between departments as priorities change.
Accuracy, speed and consistency are essential.
You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the production equipment to ensure it meets our food safety and hygiene standards daily.
Responsibilities
- Work in tortilla room to make and cut into shape
- Fry tortilla chips (totopos).
- Season and quality check finished products.
- Pack and label products accurately and efficiently.
- Box finished goods ready for dispatch.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
- Thoroughly clean the frying and packing equipment at the end of production.
- Carry out daily cleaning of machinery, utensils and work areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Support other production tasks when required.
Essential Requirements
- Flexibility with rota change and team work
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or packing.
- Able to work quickly while maintaining excellent accuracy.
- Happy carrying out cleaning duties and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
- Reliable, punctual and hard-working.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Languages: English & Polish
