The City of Lincoln Council is seeking a highly motivated individual to work within the Licensing Team. The role will involve supporting the service to create, for example, licences for taxis, alcohol establishments and horses on the common.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General admin support for all team members.
- The use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Teams.
- Creating and sending renewal letters, updating / maintaining databases, populating spreadsheets.
- Creating licences using Civica APP.
- Issuing taxi test certificates, e-mailing applicants / licence holders.
- Making and receiving phone calls from various stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise day to day workloads.
- An understanding of adhering to and maintaining confidentiality.
- GCSE’s (or equivalent) to include English and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), and how it applies to the role.
