About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and experienced HIAB Driver to join our team and work on a flexible basis to cover holiday and sickness across various sites in Norfolk.
COVER REQUIRED September 1st - September 10th
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HIAB-equipped vehicle
- Deliver and collect building materials and other goods
- Load and unload using the HIAB crane in accordance with safe working practices
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Maintain excellent customer service at all delivery locations
- Comply with all road transport legislation and company health & safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (Class 1 welcomed where applicable)
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Current HIAB/ALLMI certificate (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of driver hours and tachograph regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A positive, flexible, and professional attitude
- Previous HIAB driving experience is essential
