About the Role
Munchkins After School Club is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Relief Childcare Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team. This is a relief position covering term time and ideal for someone passionate about working with children in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children attending the after-school club
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and individual needs of all children are met at all times
- Follow the club’s policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Work effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality childcare
Essential Qualifications
- CCLD or Playwork qualification, Level 2 or above
Personal Attributes
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Friendly, patient, and approachable manner
- Responsible, dependable, and able to use initiative
- Good communication and teamwork skills
