As our Youth and Community Team Member you will be responsible for develivery local community and youth initiatives and supporting the delivery of community events.
Summary of main responsibilities

Operational
· Engage positively with and advocate on behalf of youth people attending youth club sessions, helping to nurture a positive environment that fosters their skills and development.
· Deliver each youth club session in accordance with the project delivery plan to ensure young people get the most out of the diverse programme
· Build positive, trusted relationships with young people, supporting their personal development, wellbeing, resilience and engagement in positive activities
· Work closely with our delivery partner staff to ensure smooth delivery of both youth club sessions.
· Build relationships with community members accessing our support services programme, ensuring everyone is treated in a kind, respectful and fair manner regardless of circumstance.
· Ensure all health, safety, food hygiene and safeguarding policies are followed during all project delivery to create a safe and considered environment for all community members.
· Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation of the Community and Youth spaces, including the external community garden and ensure resources are used and stored correctly.
· Register service users in accordance with MFF rules and document attendance on registers provided.
· Provide regular feedback as both oral and written reports on attendance, engagement level, and activity delivery.
· Have a strong understanding of all MFF programming and be able to provide information to community members about support available.
General
· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
· Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check at the appropriate level for the role, and satisfactory references.
· Strong understanding of safeguarding; successful candidates may be required to attend training.
· As an MFF employee, attend meetings as required, including committee meetings and specialist forums; attend training sessions in line with work reviews and as agreed with the Chief Executive.
