We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Morning Cleaner to join our team in Shirley. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises during morning hours. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or a background in commercial cleaning to contribute to a professional environment. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated commercial areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, hand soap, and toilet roll as needed.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely according to health and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike, contributing significantly to overall hygiene standards within the premises.
Pay: £12.75 per hour
