Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Bricklayer/Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures using various masonry and building techniques. Duties
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls, foundations, arches, and other structural elements according to specifications and drawings.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and applying mortar or other adhesives.
- Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to ensure precise work.
- Use power tools including drills, saws, and mixers to facilitate building tasks.
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to formwork or framework as required.
- Perform roofing tasks including installing tiles or slates when necessary.
- Engage in welding activities for specialised structural components when needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety standards are maintained on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by clearing debris and storing tools properly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, or general building work is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
- Knowledge of bricklaying techniques, masonry principles, and building codes.
- Ability to operate basic carpentry equipment and perform roofing tasks is advantageous.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Must have CSCS AND DRIVING LICENSE
Pay: £16.00-£20.00 per hour
