We take pride in our work, and we take pride in you - we’re looking for a caring and dedicated person to join our Expert Team as a Care Assistant/Carer, to help us set the standard.
Responsibilities as a Care Assistant / Carer:
- Personal care
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Companionship and outings
We also have a nurse led clinical care team where you can work in a more advanced setting focusing on the following:
- Monitoring Oxygen stats overnight | Nebulisers | Suctioning | Bipap Machine monitoring | PEG Feed | STOMA | Catheter Care | Spinal & brain injuries
- Enhanced pay when workin in this team
We require someone who is happy to work a variety of shifts. The shift patterns in the customer's home are as follows:
7am-3:30pm | 3pm-9pm | 8pm-7am (awake night)
Positions available at Bluebird Care: Colchester & Tendring and Braintree & Uttlesford.
Care Assistant: £13.65 - £17.26 p/h (£13.25 starting rate if under 2 years’ experience)
Clinical Carer: £14.65 - £21.50 p/h
Live in Carer: £975-£1,200 per week (depending on complexity of package)
Awake Nights: £14.65 - £18.15 p/h
