Are you a passionate and compassionate Registered Nurse looking for flexibility while making a real difference? We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Peripatetic Bank Nurse Team, providing high-quality nursing care across our seven beautiful care homes in the North East.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of services, choosing shifts that fit around your lifestyle while gaining experience within different care settings.The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional patient care skills and possess a solid understanding of anatomy. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.
Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries and concerns, providing support and guidance as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical settings.
- Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices in nursing care.
