The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. We strictly work with high performance vehicles only.
No diesel or standard vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify vehicle issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out assembly, disassembly, and repair tasks efficiently.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, ensuring all work adheres to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Assist with the realignment, calibration, and testing of vehicle systems post-repair to ensure optimal performance.
- Carry out welding, exhaust work and heavy lifting as required for structural repairs or component replacements.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed for each vehicle serviced.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering any questions professionally.
- Ensure work stations are always kept clean and tidy
Requirements
- 4 years of proven experience with vehicle repair or maintenance; formal qualifications in automotive technology are preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions and willing to learn.
- Willing to learn how to work equipment like rolling road.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialised repair tools.
- Experience with assembly processes and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documenting work performed.
- Good communication skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Must have
Minimum of 4 years mechanical hands on work experience that can be proven.
Full Driving license
Own equipped tool box
This role is for someone who can hit the ground running.
Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
