Lead, coach and develop the TA team to deliver a consistent, responsive and inclusive recruitment service for non-clinical roles.
Oversee day-to-day recruitment activity, team capacity and priorities, ensuring vacancies progress effectively and agreed service standards are met.
Act as the senior operational point of contact for TA, managing escalations and providing practical advice and constructive challenge to hiring managers.
Support senior, complex, scarce-skill and high-volume non-clinical recruitment, identifying effective, timely and cost-conscious resourcing solutions.
Work closely with People Partners, who lead workforce planning with the business, to translate agreed workforce needs, succession priorities and wider people plans into recruitment activity and talent pipelines.
Partner with People Partners and hiring managers to test recruitment needs, clarify role requirements and agree the most appropriate attraction and selection approach.
Use recruitment data, market insight and feedback to monitor performance, identify risks and recommend improvements to recruitment delivery.
Maintain accurate and accessible recruitment metrics and reporting, including hiring progress, time to hire, source effectiveness, agency use, candidate experience and other agreed measures.
Improve recruitment processes, assessment approaches and ways of working to strengthen efficiency, inclusion, compliance and the candidate and hiring manager experience.
Ensure recruitment activity complies with relevant employment legislation, internal policies, safer recruitment requirements, GDPR, equal opportunities and safeguarding standards.
Manage day-to-day relationships with recruitment agencies, advertising partners and other suppliers, ensuring appropriate use, effective service and value for money.
Develop effective sourcing and attraction approaches across direct sourcing, advertising, referrals, professional networks and other relevant channels.
Support the Head of Talent Acquisition with the development and optimisation of the ATS, including workflows, data quality, reporting and user experience.
Support the Head of Talent Acquisition with service improvement, talent value proposition and employer brand activity, ensuring agreed direction is reflected consistently in recruitment delivery and candidate communications.
Contribute operational insight to TA service design, workforce and talent planning, careers pathways and longer-term talent pipeline activity led by the Head of Talent Acquisition.
Work with People Operations and other relevant teams to support a smooth handover from recruitment into pre-employment checks and onboarding.
Lead or support agreed recruitment projects and continuous improvement activity across the TA function.
