Overview
Manuli Hydraulics UK is a well-established market leader in the manufacture and supply of hydraulic components and hose assemblies. The products are used in underground mining, oil & gas drilling and general hydraulic applications. All solutions are fully tested and approved to International standards and are exported globally from our UK facility. Due to expansion of business an opportunity has arisen to join our customer services and sales team.
Main Responsibilities
- Liaising with customers both within the UK and Internationally.
- Sales order processing and administration in a timely manner for same day and/or weekly dispatches.
- Creating production orders and progressing, warehouse picking lists, allocating stock, delivery notes, packing lists and invoices including export documentation as required for customer despatches.
- Liaising and cooperation with other departments to ensure customer orders / requirements are fulfilled and delivered on time.
- Quotations, handling of customer enquiries, stock checking, and new sales opportunities by telephone and email.
- General office duties including filing, data entry and maintaining customer records.
Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities
- Experience and a proven track record within a busy customer service/administration role.
- Effective and accurate administrator, methodical with excellent attention to detail.
- Knowledge of export processes and paperwork.
- Supply Chain/ Logistics/ Warehousing understanding and awareness.
- A team player able to work with others to achieve results and exceed customer expectations.
- Strong time management, planning responsibility, self-motivated and goal oriented.
- Professional and confident telephone manner.
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Clear verbal and written communication skills, able to liaise and build rapport both internally and externally.
- Excellent I.T skills to include Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word and Power-point. Knowledge of SAP advantageous but not essential.
Working hours are 8.30 - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
