Overview
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing damage claims or asset-related administration? We are looking for a proactive Damage Co-ordinator to join our business and play a key role in managing equipment damage cases from initial report through to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and manage damage incidents involving hired plant and equipment.
- Review damage reports, photographs, inspection records, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with customers regarding damage claims and associated costs.
- Coordinate with workshop and depot teams to obtain repair estimates and supporting evidence.
- Raise damage quotations, invoices, and recovery charges.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims and repairs using company systems.
- Monitor outstanding cases and ensure timely resolution.
- Produce regular reports on damage trends, recovery rates, and fleet performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing fleet damage and associated costs.
We're looking for someone with;
- Previous experience in a damage coordination, claims handling, fleet administration, plant hire, vehicle rental, or similar role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work to deadlines.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working within the plant hire, construction, vehicle rental, or fleet management sectors would be advantageous.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
