We are looking for a qualified relief/Part time HGV class 2 driver to join our small but established night driving team. This role involves driving a regular route to London and back and is double crewed, with small number of deliveries/collections on the way back.
- Typical shift length is 15-20 hours (Double Crewed) Mon-Thurs
- Load and unload your vehicle
- Deliver our products to and from their single (or occasionally multi-drop) destination(s) in a professional, efficient, and effective manner
- Ensure that the products on the vehicle are secured and protected where necessary
- Liaise with the Transport Manager regarding logistics and ensuring customer first approach is taken at all times.
- Communicate with the London driving team to ensure delays or changes do not disrupt onwards deliveries.
- Adhere to all legislations on all occasions including Tacho and DSA driving standards.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks
- Maintain a positive image representing our brand.
- Maintain vehicle to a high level and ensure that various compliance requirements are achieved.
