Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Porter 2 nights a week Thursday & Sundays, where your energy and dedication will ensure our guests experience a safe, welcoming, and seamless overnight stay. As the guardian of the property during nighttime hours, you’ll provide exceptional guest services, maintain security protocols, and support the smooth operation of our hotel. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to be the friendly face that guests rely on during their late-night hours while ensuring all facilities are secure and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during the night shift, providing friendly and professional service.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the premises to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels to detect any suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, or emergencies with a calm and helpful attitude.
- Maintain detailed logs of nightly activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support housekeeping staff by coordinating late-night cleaning or maintenance requests as needed.
- Uphold health and safety standards by following established protocols and reporting hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations is highly desirable.
- Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are a strong plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently during night hours with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
