Overview
Apex Clean Group is looking for reliable, self-employed cleaners to carry out cleans across London, covering HMO properties, Airbnb turnovers, and regular residential/commercial cleans. This is a flexible, self-employed role — you manage your own schedule and get paid per completed job. Ideal for someone who wants steady work with variety, without being tied to a single employer.
Duties
- Carry out HMO cleans (communal areas, kitchens, bathrooms, shared spaces)
- Carry out Airbnb turnover cleans — fast, high-standard resets between guest stays, including bed-making and restocking basics
- Carry out regular residential and commercial cleans as required
- Manage your own schedule to fit agreed job times — Airbnb turnovers often need fast turnaround between checkout and next check-in
- Bring your own cleaning products and equipment
- Maintain consistently high standards across all property types
- Communicate directly with Apex Clean Group to confirm job completion and flag issues (damage, missing items, maintenance needs)
- Keep basic records of completed jobs
- Follow health and safety standards across all settings
Qualifications
- Previous cleaning experience (residential, HMO, Airbnb/hospitality, or commercial) preferred
- Reliable and consistent — especially critical for Airbnb turnovers with tight guest-changeover windows
- Own transport to reach properties across London
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and professionalism
- Flexibility to take on jobs across different London boroughs as Apex Clean Group’s client base grows
Pay & Structure
- £30-40 per HMO/residential clean (approx. 2-3 hours)
- £25-35 per Airbnb turnover clean (typically faster, 1-2 hours depending on property size)
- Paid per completed job, not hourly
- Job frequency varies — HMO/residential often recurring, Airbnb turnovers on-demand around bookings
- Opportunity to take on more work as Apex Clean Group expands across London
