Duties
- Lead and organize sports practice sessions, games, and drills in alignment with program goals
- Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to help participants improve their skills
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and motivating environment for all players
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to plan activities that promote teamwork and sportsmanship
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain equipment in good condition
- Encourage participant engagement, enthusiasm, and personal development through positive reinforcement
- Track attendance, participation levels, and progress to support program evaluation
Requirements
- Prior experience in sports coaching or related activities is highly desirable
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse age groups
- Passion for sports, physical activity, and youth development
- Ability to motivate others and foster a team-oriented atmosphere
- Reliable, energetic, and committed to creating a fun learning environment
- Willingness to undergo background checks or safety training as required
- Knowledge of sport-specific rules and techniques is a plus but not mandatory
