We're looking for an in-person content creator/editor to help produce a high volume of short-form content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels.
This is not a highly technical editing role. The priority is consistency, organisation, output and understanding what makes content engaging.
Important Requirements
- Must be based locally to Blackpool or surrounding areas
- Must be fluent in English with a natural UK accent
- Must be comfortable appearing on camera occasionally if needed
- Must be able to work alongside me in person on some days
- Must be reliable, organised and able to work independently
What You'll Be Working With
Most content will already be provided, including:
- Meta Glasses footage
- iPhone footage
- Tripod recordings
- Property maintenance jobs
- Business content
- Sales content
- Technology and automation content
- Day-to-day behind-the-scenes footage
Your Responsibilities
- Edit Shorts, Reels and TikToks
- Add captions, B-roll and music
- Record voiceovers where appropriate
- Turn long clips into multiple short pieces of content
- Organise footage and content libraries
- Schedule and maintain a steady content output
Editing Style
This is not about complex visual effects.
Typical edits will involve:
- Trimming clips
- Stitching footage together
- Basic zooms and cuts
- Captions
- B-roll
- Simple transitions
- Retention-focused editing
Software
Preferred:
I already have MotionVFX assets and templates available, so experience with these would be beneficial.
You're also welcome to use your own preferred software if you can achieve similar results.
Voiceover
Open to male or female applicants.
Preference may be given to:
- Someone with a strong, clear UK accent
- A male voice that can naturally match my tone and delivery style
- Someone confident recording voiceovers for social media content
