We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth operation of our busy dining establishment. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
- Supervise and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a cohesive work environment.
- Support food preparation and cooking activities to maintain quality standards and consistency across all dishes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the premises.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise table turnover to enhance guest experience.
- Assist with training new staff members in hospitality procedures, food safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and supplies; coordinate with suppliers as needed.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Support in organising special events or promotions within the restaurant setting.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations; culinary or hotel experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated team management skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff effectively.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen equipment operation.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,500.00 per year
