PureCare is seeking to recruit a Mental Health Support Worker to undertake night shifts at Springbank House, a stunning residential home in Bexhill-on-Sea, within easy walking distance of the town centre and with good access to local transport links.
We are looking for candidates who have the flexibility to work night shifts (9.30pm to 8.30am) on a mixture of weekdays and weekends. In an average week, 2-3 night shifts (22-33 hours) will be available, although there is always the opportunity to work additional day shifts if desired.
So…what do we do? In short, we help, support and encourage people with mental health issues to lead their lives as independently as possible by offering the best standard of support. Wherever possible, our aim is to rehabilitate our clients back into a life in the community.
Day shifts involve supporting clients with their cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, medication, appointments and wellbeing. Night shifts involve a larger element of cleaning and less of the activities outside of the homes.
We are looking for people who really do care about making a difference to the lives of others and who are committed to the cause. You must have the ability to work both by yourself and as part of a team. Common sense and flexibility are imperative along with a good sense of humour! No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
