Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and utensils to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in organising supplies, restocking ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed diligently.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of service stations before and after meal periods.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times during daily operations.
- Support serving staff by delivering food items to the dining area when needed, contributing to excellent hospitality service.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques such as basic cooking or handling ingredients is advantageous.
- Experience in maintaining cleanliness standards within a busy kitchen or hospitality setting is highly valued.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

THIS ROLE IS A FULL TIME WHICH WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
