Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by sanitizing surfaces and waste disposal
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are covered effectively
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure continuous availability
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Use janitorial equipment safely and correctly, including vacuum cleaners, mops, buffers, and cleaning chemicals
- Support team members during busy periods or special cleaning projects as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
