Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood curriculum standards
- Supervise children during daily routines, including playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times
- Support the emotional well-being of children by providing comfort, encouragement, and positive reinforcement
- Lead and mentor junior staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Ensure the nursery environment is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee daily nursery operations and team coordination
- Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings or nurseries
- Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Valid driving license (nice-to-have) for transporting children or attending external activities as needed
- Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a proactive approach to problem-solving
