Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in plastering/ rendering & plasterboarding to contribute to diverse building projects. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and various building techniques, maintaining safety and efficiency on site.
Duties
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using hand tools and trowels to achieve smooth finishes.
- Preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary before plaster application.
- Mixing plaster materials accurately according to specification.
- Operating power tools safely for cutting, mixing, and applying plaster or related materials.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area throughout the job process.
Experience
- Proven experience in plastering or related trades such rendering & plasterboarding.
- Familiarity with hand tools including trowels, floats, and chisels.
- Experience operating power tools safely in a construction environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Prior experience working on both interior and exterior surfaces preferred but not mandatory. This role provides an engaging environment for tradespeople looking to utilise their skills in a dynamic construction setting while contributing to high-quality building projects.
Pay: £15.75-£22.50 per hour
