The Role
As our Administrative Support Assistant, you will provide essential day-to-day administrative support across the club. You will be the first point of contact for many enquiries, ensuring excellent customer service while supporting the wider team with administrative and operational tasks.
No two days are the same, and you'll play an important role in helping the club operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries via email, telephone and other communication channels.
- Process bookings, memberships, sign-ups and payments accurately.
- Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems.
- Prepare correspondence, documents and reports as required.
- Support the club's marketing activities, including social media administration.
- Assist with general office administration and daily operational tasks.
- Ensure confidential information is handled appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the smooth running of the club.
Person SpecificationEssential
- Previous administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online systems.
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Reliable, trustworthy and professional.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
Desirable
- Experience using booking or membership management systems.
- Previous experience working within a sports, leisure or customer-facing environment.
- Experience supporting social media or basic marketing activities.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
