Position Overview:
As a Behaviour Specialist – ADHD, you will play a pivotal role in offering specialized support and interventions for individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Working collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals, you’ll develop and implement strategies that promote positive behaviour, enhance focus, and facilitate overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized behaviour intervention plans for individuals with ADHD.
Collaborate with individuals to understand their specific needs and challenges.
Partner with educators, parents, and therapists to create a comprehensive support network.
Provide guidance and training to educators and caregivers on effective strategies for ADHD management.
Utilise evidence-based practices to address attention, focus, and impulse control.
Maintain accurate records of progress and behaviour observations.
Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment that enables all students to thrive.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with individuals with ADHD, preferably in educational or clinical settings.
In-depth understanding of ADHD and its associated challenges.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic nature and a patient approach to navigating challenging situations.
Ability to adapt interventions to suit individual learning styles and needs.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are a plus.
