About The Gog
The Gog is an independent farm shop, butchery and food destination based in the Gog Magog Hills, just south of Cambridge. We are passionate about exceptional food, knowledgeable service and creating a warm, welcoming experience for every customer. Alongside our farm shop, we offer food and drink to enjoy on-site and host a variety of events throughout the year.
We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our team in a flexible, multi-skilled role covering both retail and hospitality.
Previous experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
The role may include:
- Serving customers across our farm shop and hospitality areas
- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Using tills and handling payments
- Restocking and presenting products
- Keeping customer and working areas clean and welcoming
- Supporting other departments when required, including events
The successful applicant will:
- Be an excellent team player
- Be friendly, reliable and approachable
- Take pride in going above and beyond for our customers
- Be willing to learn and work across different areas of the business
- Be flexible and able to help cover staff sickness and holidays
- Be available to work at least one day each weekend and occasional evenings
- Be aged 18 or over
