Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across various commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash disposal
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to ensure high-quality results
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable with a positive attitude and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently while following instructions carefully
- Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols is a plus but not required
- Flexibility to work part-time hours during weekdays or weekends as scheduled
