Projects Co-Ordinator
9:30am to 3:30pm | Office Based | Welwyn Garden City
We're looking for someone highly organised to join our growing team.
This is not a sales role and it's not a traditional office admin job. It's a hands-on position at the heart of our business, making sure projects run smoothly and our customers receive an excellent experience from start to finish.
We've been building exhibition stands for over 36 years and work with clients across the UK and Europe. We're a close-knit team with a family feel, where everyone mucks in and no two days are quite the same.
The Role
You'll be responsible for keeping projects moving and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating exhibition projects
- Organising installations and logistics
- Managing supplier relationships
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues
- Managing our goods in and goods out area
- Improving internal processes where you spot opportunities
- Supporting the wider team wherever needed
You'll also attend around five exhibitions each year, giving you the chance to see projects come to life and better understand our industry.
No two days are the same, and we're looking for someone who enjoys that variety.
Who We're Looking For
Experience in exhibitions, events or customer service is helpful but not essential. We're happy to train the right person.
More important than experience is attitude.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Exceptionally organised
- Calm under pressure
- Friendly and approachable
- Happy juggling multiple projects at once
- A natural problem solver
- Someone who thinks ahead rather than waits to be asked
- Happy to roll their sleeves up and help wherever needed
A willingness to drive a van occasionally would be an advantage but isn't essential.
The Reality
Our industry can be fast paced.
Clients change their minds.
Deadlines move.
Several projects can demand attention at once.
Our busiest periods are exactly that, busy.
We're looking for someone who enjoys finding solutions, staying organised and keeping things moving.
Why Join Us?
We're proud of the culture we've built.
- Established business with over 36 years of experience
- Small, supportive team
- Direct access to the directors
- Fast-paced and varied work
- No corporate nonsense
- Genuine responsibility from day one
Most importantly, we're offering a role that works alongside the school run because we believe talented people shouldn't have to choose between a rewarding career and family life.
If you're organised and enjoy making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
