Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial record-keeping and data management. Prior experience with recognised accounting software and systems is preferred but not neccesary.
Duties
- Assist with accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and reconciling payments using Sage accounting software.
- Maintain organised records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist with general administrative tasks related to finance operations as required
Requirements
- Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting systems is advantageous
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounts payable procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
