Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organisation of all laundry operations, contributing to the overall guest experience. Previous hotel experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Collect, sort, and process laundry items in accordance with hotel procedures
- Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure all linen, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned, pressed, and stored correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area at all times
- Monitor stock levels of laundry supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with other housekeeping duties as required to support the overall operation of the hotel
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays if required
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering excellent guest service
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£12.51 per hour
