Pay: £10.85–£14.00 per hour
About the role
SBW Group Ltd is looking for a motivated and organised Trainee Estimator to join our team in Hemel Hempstead.
Previous estimating experience is not required, as full training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term career in estimating, customer service and order management.
Key responsibilities
- Preparing quotations and estimates
- Entering and processing customer orders
- Communicating with customers by telephone and email
- Updating order details and customer records
- Preparing and processing invoices
- Monitoring the progress of orders
- Supporting the office and operations teams
Essential requirements
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Written and spoken Romanian would be considered an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to learn and develop within the role

Pay
£10.85–£14.00 per hour, with the applicable statutory minimum wage paid according to the successful candidate’s age and employment status.
Starting pay will be based on the applicable statutory National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage. Pay may increase up to £14.00 per hour, depending on training progress, skills, performance and responsibilities.
