Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workshop Controller to oversee daily workshop operations and ensure efficient vehicle servicing and repairs. Duties
- Coordinate and prioritize daily workshop tasks to optimize productivity and turnaround times
- Allocate jobs to technicians based on skill level, workload, and job requirements
- Monitor progress of repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, parts used, and service documentation
- Sourcing work shop parts
- Parts inventory
- Accepting Parts and receiving on the system
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive or mechanical workshop environments with strong mechanical knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to lead or supervise a team within a fast-paced workshop setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with technicians, customers, and management
- Knowledge of workshop management systems or similar software is advantageous
