Join Our Specialist Oral Surgery Team
Are you a qualified Dental Nurse looking to develop your skills in a specialist environment? We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Dental Nurse to join our friendly Oral Surgery team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Oral Surgeons, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care in a modern and well-equipped clinical setting.
About the Role
As an Oral Surgery Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients receive exceptional care throughout their treatment journey. You will assist clinicians during a wide range of oral surgery procedures, maintain excellent infection prevention standards, and help create a calm and reassuring experience for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during oral surgery procedures.
- Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials before treatment.
- Supporting clinicians with surgical procedures and patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention and decontamination protocols.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Reassuring and supporting patients before, during and after treatment.
- Managing stock levels and preparing surgical equipment.
- Working collaboratively with clinicians and the wider practice team to deliver outstanding patient care.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified and GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
- Has a caring and professional approach to patient care.
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
- Previous oral surgery or surgical nursing experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Sedation or Radiography desirable
