Job Opportunity: Civils Foreman
We offer an exciting opportunity to join our long-established employee-owned company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site teams and subcontractors.
- Maintain health & safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Deliver daily briefings and complete permits.
- Liaise effectively with the Site Manager, Supervisor and Clients, to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, timesheets, plant usage, deliveries, and progress reports.
- Mentor and support site operatives, promoting a positive team culture and high standards of performance.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in public realm works.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction methods, including drainage, earthworks, concrete works, highways, and infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills.
- SMSTS/SSSTS – desirable.
- NRSWA – desirable.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
