Social Media Manager (Instagram & TikTok) – Remote & Flexible
I'm the sole owner of Paper Poppet Studio, a growing Etsy business selling nostalgic and pop-culture inspired sticker packs and digital products.
Alongside running the business, I also work full-time. The shop is growing quickly and most of my spare time is spent creating and fulfilling orders, which means I don't have enough time to consistently grow my social media accounts.
I'm looking for a creative, proactive person to help manage and grow my Instagram and TikTok presence.
This role is not simply about creating posts. I'm looking for someone who can bring ideas to the table, spot trends, explain the thinking behind content and help build a community around the brand.
What You'll Be Doing
- Creating Instagram posts, reels, stories and TikTok content
- Researching trends, viral content and growth opportunities
- Creating content using existing Etsy listings, product photos and brand assets
- Suggesting giveaways, collaborations and community-building ideas
- Researching hashtags, captions and audience engagement strategies
- Helping grow followers, engagement and traffic to my Etsy shop
- Identifying new opportunities to increase brand awareness and sales
- Potentially hosting TikTok Lives to showcase products and engage with customers
What I'm Looking For
- Someone who understands social media growth, not just content creation
- A creative thinker who can bring fresh ideas and suggestions
- Someone who enjoys researching trends and understanding what is performing well
- Someone who can explain why they believe a piece of content will work
For example, I don't just want to receive a post. I'd like to understand the thought process behind it, such as:
- Why do you think it will perform well?
- Who is the target audience?
- What is the goal of the content?
- Are there similar examples that have performed well?
An interest in pop culture, music, TV shows, films, books, fandom communities and Etsy businesses would be a huge advantage.
Payment
- £5 per approved post/reel/content piece
- Free products provided to help create content and promote the brand
There may also be opportunities for additional bonuses and commission-based earnings in the future through successful campaigns, TikTok Shop sales and TikTok Live selling.
