About the Role:
At Progression Care, we believe every moment holds the potential to support and empower the young people we work with. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping 16–18 year olds develop essential life skills, build confidence, and work toward independence.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll support young people in their daily routines – including attending social activities, pursuing hobbies and sports, managing household tasks like cooking and cleaning, and supporting with budgeting and appointments. Please note: this position does not involve personal care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent, positive support tailored to each young person’s individual needs
- Encourage and assist with daily living skills
- Support with leisure activities, education, employment, and social inclusion
- Assist with household duties and day-to-day routines
- Participate in a rota that includes weekends and sleep-in shifts
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year experience working with vulnerable young people
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred (business insurance required)
- Reliable, compassionate, and friendly nature
- Basic literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Willingness to complete necessary training and background checks
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references and one character reference
