Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, or baked goods as needed.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and cleanliness procedures at all times.
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service that enhances their experience.
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and give correct change.
- Keep the work area tidy, organized, and stocked with supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Support team members during busy periods by multitasking effectively and managing time efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in a customer service role is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory checks.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward customers and team members.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks associated with food preparation and service.
