Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques, particularly MIG welding, and demonstrate proficiency in fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with both hand and power tools to create high-quality metal components.
Duties
- Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques as required for various projects.
- Fabricate components and other materials according to specifications.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise.
Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding and other relevant welding techniques.
- Experience with fabrication processes, particularly involving Structural Steel
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in welding and fabrication tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
- Ability to assemble components accurately while maintaining high-quality standards.
