Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders efficiently and providing excellent service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure quality and hygiene are upheld at all times
- Manage cash register operations accurately, handling transactions with basic math skills
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients or snacks as needed
- Monitor stock levels of supplies and ingredients, notifying management when restocking is required
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in serving roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures to maintain health standards
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Good basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to connect with customers
- Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
